We would love to have you worship with us
Whether you’re new to the area or just visiting, trying a new church can be hard and we’re really excited you are considering us!
Emmaus Lutheran Church is a place where people can meet Jesus, engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God’s glory.
Join us for our Sunday worship gathering at 10:30 am!
What To Expect
A typical service will last about 60 minutes. We sing a good mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship team. During the school year, we invite you to hang around after the service for a meal and fellowship.
WHERE TO PARK
Emmaus is located inside of St. Paul Lutheran Church. There is a small parking lot on the northwest side of the building that we kindly ask you leave open for the elderly or those with limited mobility.
Free public parking is available Sundays on Krause Street and the lot at the end of the street, both highlighted yellow in the diagram below as “Parking Option 1”. There is also some parking available across the street from Emmaus at the Youth House, located at 500 W. Liberty Street labeled “Parking Option 2”.

Mission & Vision
Go, therefore, and make disciplesThe Mission
To mobilize generations to join Jesus on his mission.
The Vision
To create a community where people are seen, heard, and loved. We want to witness a city transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
What We Believe
“What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.” – A.W. Tozerour Beliefs
Emmaus Lutheran Church is centered on the person of Jesus Christ and the power of His message, His death, and His resurrection. We believe we are called to faithfully follow Him as humble disciples. We rejoice in the gift of forgiveness and eternal life found in His death and His resurrection. We are a community seeped in the ancient Christian teachings and the traditions of those who came before us. We are a member congregation of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod and one of the small extremities of a much larger Church body.
We stand firmly in the reformation teaching of being saved by God’s grace, of God’s Word being the rule and norm for teaching, and of faith, not man’s actions, bringing us to God.
