Jesus came for the sake of the whole world and yet he came at a specific time, in a particular place, among specific people. Each advent season, we work to bless our world both globally and locally, intentionally working with specific ministries for such a time as this.

SPONSOR CHRISTMAS FOR KIDS IN FOSTER CARE
Partnering with Michigan Foster Care Closet.
Supporting foster families around Michigan by providing gifts and stockings for their children.
GOAL: Provide gifts & stockings for 2 children.

SUPPORT RESTORATION FROM HURRICANE HELENE
Partnering with Foundation Woodworks, in Asheville NC
Foundation Woodworks is located in Asheville North Carolina, and provides a woodworking space for 16 artists and a gallery where over 80 local artists sell their work. They have remained closed ever since Hurricane Helene left devastating water damage, with the water reaching as high as roof level. The owners, Jacqueline and Mark, are in need of additional funds to continue restoration, and to purchase necessary business equipment (like computers, printers, displays, and tools) in order to open again. Due to the companies' close relationship with other business in the River Arts District of Asheville, being able to reopen would mean a positive impact not only on for Foundation Woodworks and the many artists it supports, but for the entire surrounding community.
GOAL: Raise $700 to replace needed supplies and rebuild the infrastructure.

Partnering with Groundwork Guatemala
Groundwork Guatemala exists to assist the least of these spiritually, emotionally and physically. They aim to provide consistent involvement and are focused purely on spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of Guatemala.
The Groundwork team's mission is to "Seek the Lost; Equip the Found" by sharing the message of Jesus Christ with the people of Guatemala and helping believers grow in their faith and service. They Bible studies, activities for children, and visiting families in surrounding neighborhoods. They also have an education sponsorship program, connecting supporters with children in Guatemala. All funds donated go directly toward education and supporting local ministry workers. The team relies on prayer for guidance, protection, and the growth of faith in the communities they serve, which includes leading Bible studies, activities for children, and visiting families in surrounding neighborhoods.
Groundwork Guatemala has a team of local missionaries. One in specific, Oscar, is in need of additional financial donations to continue his economic aid. Oscar is involved specifically with the children at Groundwork Guatemala. Meeting our goal will sponsor Oscar and his work with kids in the surrounding communities.
